No Bake Brownies!

These brownies are amazing!! They are 100% raw and let me just tell you...if I had butter infused chocolaty gooey sugar goodness.....I would much rather grab one of these.  No temptation.

1 c walnuts
1 c dates, pitted
1/2 c cacao powder
pinch of salt
raw cacao nibs (optional)

Process walnuts in food processor until it makes a flour consistency.
Add dates, process.
Then slowly add cacao powder and salt until texture is like a dough.
Patt dough into pan.
Sprinkle cacao nibs on top (this just adds crunch and extra chocolate, oh yeah)

This recipe makes a small amount.  This pan is a 7x5 pirex.

  2. FYI ALERT :)
Don't substitute the Cacao powder with Carob powder.
The Carob is a completely different plant.
I find the Carob to be a bit dryer and the brownie "dough" crumbled when I subed it.
Also, don't make this recipe with Cocoa powder either (you know the rectangle-ish Hersey's box...) Cacao powder is a raw form directly from the Cacao pod. Cocoa is is processed from Cacao. Keep it real and RAW!
